JohnnyPlaid is my professional practice. I offer unlimited design as a subscription service.

I am based in South Carolina, United States.

When you visit a website or use an online product, standard technical data may be collected automatically, such as:

• Pages viewed, referring URL, date and time of visits

• Approximate location derived from IP address

I do not use this technical data to build advertising profiles or to sell or share audience data.

2.3 Information I do not seek

I do not intentionally collect sensitive categories of personal data (such as health, biometric, or precise geolocation data) unless you choose to include that information in a project brief and it is necessary to perform the work you requested.

3. How I Use Information

I use personal information only to:

• Respond to inquiries and provide the services you request

• Set up, operate, and support accounts or products you sign up for

• Communicate with you about a project, order, or support request

• Send transactional messages (confirmations, invoices, service updates)

• Improve the reliability and security of the Services

• Comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations

I do not use your information for behavioral advertising, data brokerage, or unrelated commercial exploitation. I do not sell personal information as that term is used under applicable U.S. privacy laws.

I do not grant third parties permission to use your data beyond what is necessary to deliver the service you requested.

My websites may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function, to remember preferences, or to understand basic usage (for example, which pages are visited). I do not use cookies to sell or share your data with advertisers.

If I use privacy-respecting analytics or standard website analytics, it is only to understand how the site is used so I can keep it working and useful. I do not combine analytics with your inquiry or customer records for advertising, and I do not sell analytics data.

7. Payments

If you pay for services or products, payment is typically processed by a third-party processor (such as Stripe, PayPal, or similar). Those processors collect and process payment details under their own privacy policies. I receive confirmation of payment and information needed for invoicing and accounting. I do not store full payment card numbers.

8. Communications

I may email or message you about an inquiry you started, work you requested, or an account you hold. I do not add you to marketing lists without a clear basis to do so (for example, you asked to be notified about a product or newsletter). You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails at any time by replying or using an unsubscribe link.

9. Data Retention

I keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the services you requested, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Inquiry records that do not become a project may be deleted sooner. When information is no longer needed, I delete or de-identify it in a reasonable manner.

10. Security

I take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures to protect personal information against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use strong unique passwords for any accounts and notify me promptly if you believe your information has been compromised.

11. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where that higher age applies). I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided me information, contact me and I will delete it.

13. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

• Correct inaccurate information

• Request deletion of information I no longer need to keep

• Receive a copy of information you provided, in a portable format where applicable

California residents: I do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). I do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under that law.

European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and similar jurisdictions: If those laws apply, I process personal information as needed to perform a contract with you, to respond to pre-contract inquiries, to comply with law, or based on legitimate interests in operating a small professional practice in a limited, non-advertising way. You may have additional rights to object or restrict certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, contact me. I may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. I will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

14. International Visitors

I am based in the United States. If you contact me from another country, your information will be processed in the United States, which may have different data-protection rules than your home country.

15. Third-Party Links and Tools

My sites or products may link to third-party websites, social platforms, or tools I do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. I am not responsible for those services.

16. AI-Related Services

If you use or commission custom agents, software, or other AI-assisted tools from me:

• I use the information you provide only to build, configure, host, or support the service you requested.

• I do not sell prompts, conversation logs, customer files, or training data derived from your private materials.

• I do not use your private project data to train public models for unrelated commercial purposes.

• Where a third-party model provider is required to run a feature you requested, that provider may process inputs as needed to generate outputs. I select and instruct providers consistent with this Policy.

You remain responsible for not submitting information you are not authorized to share.

17. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top will change when I do. Material changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Services after an update means you accept the revised Policy.
